2024 Delegates by Chapter-

After two years of testing a hybrid Forum and House of Delegates which allowed for virtual participation in real time, the AORN board has made the difficult decision to return to its pre-COVID approach and hold the 2024 Congress business sessions in person only for those onsite at Expo. While hundreds of AORN members participated in the virtual-only business sessions held during COVID when AORN was unable to host an in-person meeting, member participation in the hybrid business sessions in 2022 and 2023 was fewer than 200.
Facilitating member ability to attend virtually came at great cost to the organization with little return in the way of virtual member feedback and engagement during the meetings.
For 2024, AORN will hold its Congress business sessions onsite at Expo, and so chapters need not devise ways to account for virtual participation in the business sessions by appointed delegates.
